Peri Meri Menopause Moments

Are you struggling with your menopause? Whether you are perimenopausal, menopausal or post-menopausal, have a look at the Peri-Meri Programme overview.

Welcoming all to go along and learn how the programme can help them with hints and tips about their personal menopause journey. 

Whether your menopause journey is chemically, surgically or age induced, there is support for you.

Sessions focus on an:

  1. Introduction to menopause and its symptoms,
  2. Mental health,
  3. Medications,
  4. Health, wellbeing & holistic therapies,
  5. Future steps.

The programme is free of charge and is held across the county throughout the year, with information on upcoming dates listed below.

Free support for employers is available to aid in developing menopause support within the workplace.

The team are offering face to face and online sessions covering:

  • Menopause awareness,

Other Support can also include:

  • Reviewing policies,
  • Implementing new strategies,
  • Training staff around menopause
  • Support addressing a specific challenge within your workplace.

They are looking for partners across the county that can support them in helping those on their menopause journey.

Men and Menopause

Covering everything men want to, but don’t know how to ask. Sessions aim to inform and empower men to know more about menopause and how they can provide and access support.

Menopause Awareness

These online sessions provide a general overview to menopause, what it is, how it can affect individuals and those around them. Sessions are available throughout the year.

The programme will be providing opportunities for individuals to take part in:

  • Co-Production

The team will be developing and undertaking a Co-Production Group, working with services and those with lived experience to see whether the current level of information is sufficient to support those going through, or have gone through cancer treatments, and have been put into early onset menopause is sufficient.

Aiming to begin September 2024.

  • Early Onset Menopause discussion

The team will be developing and undertaking a co-production group, working with services and those with lived experience, to develop provision within Lincolnshire to support young people going through early onset menopause, regardless of the cause, such as cancer treatments and premature ovary insufficiency.

  • Working with men and menopause.

The team will also be asking individuals, various support organisations and those with lived experience around whether there is such a thing as male menopause. Utilising the various methods of research to establish links and explore future developments.
